Oberit is a health and wellness technology platform that helps organizations deploy and measure incentive-driven health, recovery, and workforce wellness programs. Through AI-enabled software and APIs, the system connects rewards to verified behaviors and measurable outcomes, helping partners move beyond participation-based programs toward real progress. Founded by Will House, Oberit was built from lived experience and years of work at the intersection of recovery, behavioral science, and technology.
THE CHALLENGES
The client engaged the SV SBDC while navigating key growth challenges, including refining fundraising strategy and capital pathways, clarifying its shift from direct-to-consumer to B2B applications, and strengthening operational execution and partnership priorities.
THE RESULTS
With the help of the Silicon Valley Small Business Development Center (SV-SBDC), Oberit has secured more than $850K in external capital and generated approximately $300K in commercial revenue to date. Together, this represents over $1.1M in economic activity supporting product development, partnerships, and operational growth.
The company has launched and scaled a national consumer wellness platform supporting habit formation, recovery, and mental health, while expanding toward API and marketplace capabilities that enable B2B and white-label use cases.
Oberit has supported more than 50,000 users across wellness and recovery communities and developed partnerships and integrations with organizations in behavioral health, supplements, and workforce wellness. Early revenue and engagement signals from these initiatives have informed the company’s transition toward enterprise-facing and platform-based offerings.
Engaged a distributed team of advisors, contractors, and specialists across product development, strategy, and operations—mobilizing more than a dozen contributors over the past four years.
As well as receiving editorial coverage and media visibility through outlets such as USA Today, MSN, International Business Times, and Yahoo Finance, along with podcast features and founder interviews on recovery, entrepreneurship, and behavioral change.
