Panelist:

Mike Shirazi is a Founding General Partner at Pursuit Ventures. He founded and scaled startups with IPO and M&A exits valued at more than $2B+ in software and hardware domains.
Prior to Pursuit Ventures, Mike held multiple leadership roles as the Global Lead at Accenture, focusing on business growth, the metaverse, deep tech and as a service.
Previously Mike held various positions as founder, CTO and founding member at FM Ventures, and Invensense: pioneer in commercializing MEMS sensors and sensor platforms at scale. He has over 20 years of leadership in strategy, consulting, semi-conductor, and deep-tech. Mike did his undergraduate and graduate studies in electrical engineering and computer science at UC Berkeley where he has been an active advisor to UC Berkeley SkyDeck Fun.
Andrew Krone has nearly four decades of experience in the fields of finance; national and international sales management; product distribution; marketing; purchasing; manufacturing; and consulting. Andrew is a recognized leader in independent-business finance and has been a United States Small Business Administration Mentor and Loan Committee Member of Northern California Small Business Financial Development Corporation for the State of California. Andrew is a highly regarded speaker at workshops and conferences for various Federal, state, and city governments (SBA/SBDC), including the California Economic Summit hosted by the Governor of California.
Hector Ramos is the Investment & Market Development Manager at ICA Fund, which is a venture capital CDFI that runs Accelerator programs and an Investment Fund to close the racial and gender wealth gap. ICA’s programs are focused on growth strategy and capital raising, and its fund invests “catalytic,” patient capital. Hector leads Seed and Growth equity investments and is responsible for building and strengthening relationships with key stakeholders in-market, including the Silicon Valley region. He has extensive experience in banking and debt financing at major financial institutions and has funded everything from Deep Tech and Enterprise Software startups to Fortune 500 corporations. He’s also served as a Microfinance Fellow with Kiva in Central America and co-launched a nonprofit to increase diversity in the venture capital industry.
